VegaMX is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people who rely on assistive technologies. This statement applies to vegamx.net and describes the current accessibility status of the site, its known limitations, and how to reach us if you encounter a barrier.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. They define three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

We are working toward conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We have completed an accessibility review of the site and are releasing the resulting fixes in stages. Some of that work is still outstanding, so we do not yet make a formal conformance claim for vegamx.net. This page will be updated as each stage is released and verified.

Work completed so far includes a single main landmark and a skip link on every page, a top-level heading on every page, a consistent and visible keyboard focus indicator (including on custom controls such as the newsletter checkbox), colour contrast meeting the 4.5:1 minimum for text, including small badge and label text, in both the light and dark themes, pause controls for every piece of automatically moving content, arrow-key and screen-reader support for the tabbed sections on the Markets and Solutions pages, with links into a specific tab that open it and scroll to the right place, navigation menus that can be opened, operated and dismissed from the keyboard, and a contact dialog whose fields are all labelled, which announces itself as a dialog and keeps keyboard focus inside itself while it is open. Every section of the home page is present for screen readers as soon as the page loads, the partner carousel presents each partner once to screen reader and keyboard users, collapsed sections are removed from the keyboard order until they are opened, question-and-answer sections announce whether they are expanded, the Partners search field is labelled and announces how many partners match, and links within text are underlined.

Known limitations

The specific barriers previously listed on this page have been fixed. We have not yet tested the site with a screen reader or in Windows High Contrast mode (see Assessment approach below), so there may be barriers we are not yet aware of. Any we find will be listed here with the WCAG success criterion they relate to. If you meet one, please tell us using the details under Feedback and contact.

Accessibility of vegamx.net relies on the following technologies: HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS, and JavaScript. These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.

Assessment approach

VegaMX assessed the accessibility of this website by self-evaluation. Our assessment so far has used automated testing (Lighthouse and axe-core), manual keyboard-only navigation, contrast measurement of rendered pages in both the light and dark themes, testing at 320 and 375 pixel viewport widths, and emulated forced-colours mode.

Screen reader testing (VoiceOver on macOS Safari and NVDA on Windows Chrome) and Windows High Contrast / forced-colors testing are still to be carried out; their results will be reflected here. The most recent assessment was carried out on 27 September 2026.
